**Job role**
- He/She is required to be systematic and mechanically inclined, in order to use and operate rigging/lifting equipment and execute operations. He/She is also expected to work in rotating shifts and under time pressure.

**Job tasks**
- Coordinate and be present to supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the safe lifting plan and procedure.
- Ensure that only registered and appointed crane operators, certified signalmen and rigger participate in any lifting operation involving the use of any cranes.
- Ensure that the ground conditions are safe for the lifting operations to be performed by crane.
- Conduct briefing on the Lifting Plan, Risk Assessment & Safe Work Procedure to the signalman, riggers and crane operators.
- Ensure that crane operators conduct daily checks of their assigned lifting machines and appliances prior to the start of their work shift.
- Check the validity of the lifting machine certificate by the Approved Person and maintenance inspection program.
- Attend daily toolbox meetings with supervisors and workers for effective consultation, communication and coordination before the commencement of work.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and the company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.
- Perform any other tasks as may be assigned.
- Ensure maintenance regime summary is monitored and maintained.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in high-rise building projects
- Nitec (Intermediate) / Certificate of Vocational Training / BCA Builder Certificate / NTC Grade 3 or equivalent
- Completed Lifting Supervisors Safety course
- Possess Work at Height course certification
- Possess Supervise Construction Work for WSH (formerly known as BCSS)
- Good supervisory, and communication skills
- A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- MS Office literate
