Roles & Responsibilities

GENERAL

Deputy Regional Security Head will be in charge of setting an efficient security support and End to End process in countries impacted by new business reorganization (NBM/GHU) as well as some other major Product Security issues, especially in the context of developing e-commerce channel. He will harmonize regional info-protection awareness and security training content campaigns. He will be responsible of extending and diversifying stakeholders network. The AOR, named APAC, encompasses the entirety of China and JPAC regions plus the Asia zone (ASEAN and South Asia).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Substitute for the Regional Security Head during his absence periods to guarantee Security support continuity to business and deal with emergency security issues throughout the region.
- Identification of all product security risks with the potential to adversely affect Sanofi’s business and reputation including counterfeiting, theft, diversion, fraud in NBM and GHU countries and put in place in close coordination with key internal regional stakeholders, a monitoring / End to End cross-functional process adapted to these new business model countries.
- Contribution to deployment and monitoring of digital product security investigation and packaging protection measures to prevent and disrupt illegal traffic.
- Advise and work in conjunction with regional leads, the GBU and the GHU global team to ensure that corporate and local security programs are executed in accordance with business requirements in NBM and GH.
- Assist Product Security Regional Head to maintain and develop network of key contacts in law enforcement and regulatory authorities, other pharma labs, and industry organizations to maximize efforts in pharma-crime disruption & company protection. Extend this network to French diplomatic network.
- Represent Security in the deployment of e-commerce channel program in the region.
- Harmonize training and awareness material for security teams, in liaison with Global Security academy.
- Under supervision of Regional Security Head, contribute to support to business, especially in China (risk assessment, competitive intelligence collection, report synthesis and draft). Maintain an extensive network based upon confidentiality and reactivity.

COMPETENCIES, REQUIREMENTS
- Able to accurately implement & communicate all security policies and processes.
- Highly motivated by project mode way of working, teamwork and results oriented. Initiative driven mindset and mentoring management style.
- Ability to understand, listen and communicate - oral and written - at all levels. Keen awareness and understanding of Asian & Global business practices and cultures.
- Mobility: frequent international travel throughout the region (but mainly in China, South and Southeast Asia), sometimes with very short notice.
- Place the highest importance on integrity, loyalty, and transparency.
- Must possess excellent judgment, extreme discretion, and flexibility in work hours.
- Fluency in English; other Asian language knowledge can help smooth conduct of missions and exchanges.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- Law enforcement, military, intelligence, diplomatic background and corporate security experience of 7 to 10 years are factors which will highly facilitate the comprehension and the conduct of the mission.
- Strong and diverse regional network in throughout the region.
- Degree or Diploma holder in Law, Security Management, or equivalent would be preferable.
