Assistant Programme Manager

**About The Job**
The Assistant Programme Manager will need to provide pastoral care and programme activities to staff, residents and clients in accordance with the mission and philosophy of The Salvation Army and Peacehaven Nursing Home.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Pastoral Care
- Provide pastoral care to clients, and staff including developing, organizing and conducting spiritual activities
- Intake assessment of new clients and screening of volunteers
- Attend multi disciplinary meetings with clients/family care meetings and other meetings as and when required
- Visiting of hospitalized clients/staff
- Conduct deceased clients funeral/wake services as and when required
- Purchase of relevant devotional literature as and when required
- Volunteers Management
- Assist to administer Volunteer Resource Management (VRM) operations and coordinate functions related to The Salvation Army’s VRM programmes, procedures, policies and volunteers partnership agreements
- Assist to develop, organize and implement volunteers’ programme.
- Assist to supervise/coach Programme Executives
- Maintaining and submitting of statistic according to procedures of The Salvation Armu
- Attending community volunteers network meetings and meetings at The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters.
- Programme Management
- Develop intervention plan for behavior management by using music as a tool.
- Organise programme for clients’ engagement through music.
- Train and develop staff in using music to engage residents/clients for spiritual well-being.
- Others
- Preparation and management of Pastoral Care, Volunteers and Programme budget
- Any other work assigned by the Executive Director that is consistent with the position
**Qualifications**
- Possess at least a Degree in relevant field
- At least 5 years in relevant position
- Proven track record of strong leadership
