The Pricing/Costing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategy and evaluation of pricing for services and products of Thomson Medical and its subsidiaries.

**Responsibilities**

Pricing:

- Prepare and drive regular discussions on pricing strategy and provide competitive pricing insights.
- Conduct market studies and competitive analysis of pricing strategies of competitors
- Lead on-going pricing activities across all business units.
- Analyse and ensure that proposed pricing meets business/product target margins.
- Benchmark and monitor pricing strategy vs competition.
- Develop and define pricing structures by reviewing customer trends, with clear understanding of the impact of pricing on profit margins.
- Conduct regular analysis to assess pricing effectiveness versus the business plan.
- Develop and implement governance process for pricing filing with regulatory to ensure compliance.
- Define and disseminate best practices in pricing process and execution.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the pricing table in the system, eg quarterly price update in system.
- Develop and propose pricing for new services and products

Costing:

- Perform cost, price and financial analysis to provide insights to management and BU Heads.
- Analyse cost trends, track Capex spending and utilization.
- Partner with BU Heads to review services/product profitability.
- Work with HODs to assist them to understand the cost breakdown and develop cost savings initiatives.
- Review resource capacity and utilization (eg for space, equipment capacity & utilization).

Pricing Committee:

- Responsible for organizing a quarterly pricing committee meetings.

Secondary responsibilities:

- Support automation and digital initiatives to assist in the objective of maximizing profit and improve productivity.
- Stay abreast of market demand situation.
- Any other duties and projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree in marketing or business studies or finance with relevant experience in pricing / costing management
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Accounting System (preferably ACCPAC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
