**Main Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for management and strategic direction of the Financing Operations supporting the business activities in Asia Pacific in coordination with global and regional management.
- Functional management of the reporting lines across APAC, including performance assessment, objectives settings and compensation reviews.
- Main interface for the Business Lines on all Financing Chain related issues (common tools implementation, common process design, transversal project).
- Create strong and active partnerships with front office and other support functions (within and across platforms).
- Maintain strong connection with Global Process Owners in HO under the Financing Operations as a key relay in APAC to ensure consistent delivery of the most appropriate level of service, processes and related controls & mitigations in alignment with global ones.
- Establishment of proper homogeneous controls, administration, procedures and staff resources to ensure operational efficiency, compliance to regulations and risk control.
- Contribute to the Global steering of the Financing Operations, namely through a contribution on the APAC scope to the worldwide dashboards (incl. Performance Review) - business / volumes / quality / staffing / operational incidents, etc
- Lead projects for the scope of Financing Ops: system enhancement, process automation & digitization and re-engineering to create efficiency. This responsibility encompasses the management of BCP, new operating models, Audit, Quality Management, SLAs, budgeting, etc.
- Ensure the Client Centric organization (service model, client survey, client culture) is well implemented and performant. Monitor the teams' performance vis a vis client service delivery.
- Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors and regulatory. developments, and ensure (regulatory) compliance of Banking operations.
- As an Agile Servant Leader, the Tribe Master of Financing Operations, manages the tribe resources (budget, environment, staff, suppliers), solves organization blockers (escalation by Scrum Masters), manages dependencies with other Tribes and stakeholders (e.g. HO), fosters collaboration across squads and enforces Quality standards across the Tribe (though Chapter Leads).
- The Tribe Master is responsible for the adoption of Agile principles and continuously improves the practice's consistency, quality and efficiency. This is achieved by, but not limited to, the following work:
- Facilitate Agile Tribe Ceremonies.
- Set up and maintain Control Tower - ensure proper implementation of standards and controls across the locations (working closely with local relay) and align with global strategy.
- Work with local relay, other Chapters, Scrum Master and Product Owner to identify opportunities for performance and delivery improvement. Measure benefits of the improvements, automation initiatives, particularly with regards to control framework. Continuously improve processes, systems and tools.
- Develop and implement improvement plan for the practice (tools, processes, skills). Ensure staff is committed and highly motivated, focus on skills development and fulfilment of team goals. Empower staff to take initiative and lead projects while playing a supporting role.
- Main interface with corresponding counterparties in other platforms (HO, EMEA, US) on all Financing Management related issues (common tool or process design and implementation, transversal projects).
- Responsible for improving and streamlining functional processes to support squads in optimizing delivery while ensuring compliance and high standards.
- Organise regular community of practice sessions to introduce latest trends, promote knowledge sharing, special case studies etc. Motivate the community of practice to implement required and necessary changes with regards to regulation, compliance, process efficiencies, monitoring progress and client satisfaction.
- Facilitate solutioning workshops and consult with the practitioners where expertise is required.
- Responsible for transversal and ad hoc projects as Project Manager, working closely with Chapter Leads and Scrum Masters to ensure that projects are completed without impact to BAU delivery.
- Advocate and support change adoption to ensure practices meet and exceed industry standards, stay hyper relevant and support to client needs in an efficient and effective manner.
- With the support of the reporting lines (Chapter Leads and Scrum Masters), supervise the following day-to-day duties of the delivery staff: control and monitoring of Credit Administration and Middle Office functions (loan documentation and controls), Agency functions, Loan Servicing functions including Corporate Bank Guarantee, Client Data Management, and Account Opening Documentation.
