DESIGNATION : MITB University Partnerships & Special Projects Manager, SCIS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain relations with all existing University Partners and to establish new unique University collaborations per year with focus in new regions. This includes keeping track of all existing agreements, initiate new/ renewal agreement sign-offs and be familiar with all types of collaboration models and tracking of University Partners inbound and outbound students by working closely with MITB colleagues and various SMU departments
- Plan and organize recruitment outreach trips to various countries & cities with University Partners for inbound students to meet MITB recruitment needs for two intakes per Academic Year. This includes liaising with various University Partners to check on the best recruitment time frame, work with MITB Directors/Practicum Managers to arrange for info-session trips, eDMs/Wechat posts with assistance of MITB/OPGPP marketing team and ensure that all logistics arrangements are in place
- Support recruitment outreach activities for MITB outbound students to Partner Universities by working closely with the MITB marketing team
- Liaise with University Partners to support administrative needs of inbound and outbound students for MITB term exchange/summer programmes
- Support inbound winter/summer camps organized by SMU Office of Postgraduate Professional Programmes by arranging for MITB faculty to deliver short-term teaching, MITB info-session and other admin and logistics support
- Plan and manage the annual conference/seminar/industry event by proposing and brainstorming with MITB Directors/Management Team on the event details and provide support for admin and logistics
- Work with SMU Office of Advancement to provide relevant MITB curriculum information, student statistics and etc. to support donor sponsorships activities for MITB scholarships
- Work with MITB Marketing Team to support donor specific scholarship recruitment events
- Work with SMU Office of Alumni closely to engage MITB alumni for various outreach activities
- Work with MITB admissions team and SCIS-UG admissions to manage all SCIS Fast-track students. This includes Global Impact Scholars, SCIS Local Fast-Track Scholars and Self-Funded students

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor/Master degree in International Relations, Law, Business Administration, Social Science, Engineering or other fields of study with a global-orientation
- Minimum 3 years of work experience preferably in Institute of Higher Learning dealing with International Relations or International Education working on diverse cultures for partnership development
- Ability to understand agreements and contracts and to suggest appropriate edits
- Ability to have a good level of understanding of industry trends in fintech, analytics, AI, and digital transformation, and be IT savvy
- High level of communications (both verbal and written) skills in English and Chinese
- Superb self-learning ability, and willingness to learn
- Organized, meticulous and responsible
- Good attitude, with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently is essential
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Willingness to travel for recruitment trips, work flexible hours, sometimes on late evening or on some weekends
- A good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient
