Internal Title - Senior Payroll Specialist

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced, driven, energetic, and service-oriented Payroll professional to join our Asia Pacific Payroll team in Singapore.

You are attentive to details, have a high degree of accuracy, and strong written and communication skills. You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and can complete assigned tasks with mínimal supervision.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will be performing payroll tasks related to the input and reconciliation of time keeping data, new hires, terminations, salary changes, compensation and benefit payouts, in accordance with established operating procedures and deadlines. You will ensure timely and accurate funding and disbursement of salaries, and be responsible for the timely payment and filing of monthly statutory withholdings such as tax, pension and social insurance contributions. You will coordinate the timely submission of General Ledger file/s to the Finance team, and the year-end tax activities to ensure filings are done within statutory deadlines.

You will act as the primary contact of employees for day-to-day payroll-related questions, issues of assigned countries and will escalate complex issues as required. You will maintain payroll statistics with accuracy to ensure credible metrics are reported, complete special projects as assigned, and assist/provide required information on internal/external audits, including country regulatory audits.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will be part of the Asia Pacific Payroll team based in Singapore and will report to the APAC Payroll Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Payroll in a HR shared services environment, managing multi-country payroll in APAC region
- Foundational knowledge on payroll local compliance and regulatory requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or HR
- Hands-on experience on HR, Time and Payroll software/system, such as SAP, Workday, GlobalView, etc
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
