**Wi-Fi Standardization Researcher**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research in IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN technologies with focus on next generation Wi-Fi 8, study related technical issues, and work on novel features or relevant techniques to create patents for inclusion into future Wi-Fi standards.
- Represent Panasonic to attend IEEE 802.11 standardization conferences, submit and discuss technical contributions with meeting delegates
- Work closely with Panasonic team in monitoring standard development progress and technology trend for charting future research directions
- Conduct simulations to support and/or evaluate research work, if applicable

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD (preferred) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or any other related field, with wireless communication background
- Good understanding and experience with IEEE 802.11 WLAN protocol family at the Physical (PHY) and/or Medium Access Control (MAC) layers
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, good team player
- Knowledge and experience in wireless simulation using MATLAB, C/C++, python and/or other tools will be a plus
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of relevant working experience
