Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our research team as a Research Operations Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in the health assessment operations of our cohort studies contributing to a Singapore population biobank.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work at the forefront of healthcare research. You will be responsible for participating in operational planning, developing and documenting Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), sourcing and coordinating with vendors for procurement and supply of services or goods required for health screening operations, performing health screening procedures according to WI and SOPs, ensuring participant safety and privacy through adherence to established guidelines and work practices, and implementing new procedures for future research projects.

You will also have the opportunity to take on the role of a supervisor and actively train, assess, and supervise trainees involved in research operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in operational planning and development of Work Instructions (WI) and SOPs.
  2. Source and coordinate with vendors for procurement and supply of services or goods.
  3. Perform health screening procedures according to WI and SOPs.
  4. Ensure participant safety and privacy through adherence to established guidelines and work practices.
  5. Implement new procedures for future research projects.
