We are a research organisation dedicated to understanding issues facing Singapore companies. Working closely with key stakeholders, and through rigorous research, we aim to provide industry insights that can shape government policies and initiatives for the benefit of industry. Specifically, this involves polling SMEs across industries in Singapore, understanding their operations and challenges, as well as keeping abreast of industry issues and developments in various economic sectors.

**Executive/Industry Research**

The role is to support the industry research unit by performing a range of research work, including conducting secondary research on companies in Singapore, contacting companies to obtain their participation in research initiatives, data collection through online surveys, and analysis of survey research data.

**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Responsible for end-to-end management of research projects including data collection, reporting, and analysis
- Conduct secondary research on companies in various industries in Singapore. This will consist mainly of online research, and phone calls to verify information if needed.
- Process and organise information collected into coherent industry profiles
- Contact target companies through phone calls to obtain research participation
- Prepare and script research questionnaires for online surveys and ensure accuracy of data collection
- Perform data cleaning to ensure high quality data
- Interpret and analyse survey data using statistical tools
- Present findings in an impactful manner by transforming data into appealing and well-understood visuals and reports for insights sharing
- Contribute to content generation for IndSights’ website based on research findings

**Qualifications, Skills, Attributes**
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in research-related work
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Statistics, Social Sciences or related fields
- Experience with the use of SPSS statistical software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse datasets with accuracy
- Resourceful in seeking and aggregating information from various online sources for secondary research
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Adept at report-writing and presenting findings
- Able to work in a dynamic environment, learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances
