**OVERVIEW**

The Transaction & Regulatory team (“T&R”) acts alongside Front Office colleagues (relationship managers and/or Deal Principals (DPs)) in providing solutions through a broad range of ING products to clients active in the Financial Institutions (FI) sector in Asia Pacific. The FI team within Wholesale Banking in Singapore consists of the following sub-sector teams: (i) FI Coverage, (ii) FI Lending, (iii) FI Transaction Services, and (iv) FI Advisory.

You will be working in a dynamic and diverse team of dedicated FI Sector Coverage professionals. You will play an important role in providing regulatory, compliance, administrative and policy support to the FI Lending and FI coverage teams, enabling the teams to focus efficiently on business origination duties.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide support on FI Lending transactions (including Fund Finance and Insurance Sector Finance): various administrative or regulatory requirements (e.g. covenant review and tasks related to quarterly portfolio monitoring)
- Checking receipt of covenant compliance certificates and related interaction with the covenant monitoring team, based in Columbo
- Ad hoc research requests
- Deals Database submissions and relevant systems
- Review date reporting/tracking
- Provide support with policy and procedures updates
- CDD support (initiation/offboarding/Expected Transaction Profile input/files tracking) and manage FI APAC KYC related initiatives
- Vantage and Salesforce system update, submissions and limits tracking
- NBFI support for strategy updates, research and various admin requirements during transaction life
- Support client events or internal events for the FI team
- Arrange festive gifts to clients and ensure amount is align with compliance policy and approvals in place and correctly registered in the relevant Reporting tool
- Support expense related admin functions, including Gifts and Entertainment register
- Prepare and submit the clean desk report on timely basis
- Revenue analysis on monthly basis

- Updating and maintenance of Governance manual and Business Continuity Plans for all the local FI teams (BCP)

**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience within a financial institution
- Good written and spoken English
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailed oriented, good numerical and data skills and ability to connect the dots
- Proficient with MS office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Good team player and able to liaise confidently with people at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines and thrive well in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Self-driven with a strong sense of proactiveness
