What will you be doing?
- Define and refine the collections strategy, continuously initiate strategies in optimising debt collection and credit management activities to control delinquency and minimise credit losses.
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to establish efficient collection processes and workflows by keeping up with industry best practices.
- Manage delinquent accounts, analyse and evaluate them to recommend appropriate courses of action, including liaising with external debt recovery service providers.
- Provide updates on all account status and collection efforts to stakeholders.

What are we looking for?
- Experience in collections - You have accumulated at least 2 years of experience either in banks or financial institutions as a collections officer. Having a good understanding of the collections process for retail and/or SMEs and working knowledge of legal recovery methods.
- Skilled in negotiation - You possess the ability to negotiate and persuade borrowers to make all payments required and ensure successful debt collection.
- Effective communicator - You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate to Management and all other stakeholders
- Self-driven - You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and achieve individual / team targets
