[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Senior Manager in the Student Development Office.

**[What you will be working on]**

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Lead the Talent Development team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and oversee programmes & opportunities that stretch the potential of students.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure student development programmes align with NP’s graduate outcomes.
- Manage budgets and resources for student development programmes and services.
- Collate data and provide insights on the effectiveness of student development programmes and services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a staff advisor, providing guidance and support to address student concerns and issues.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Education qualification in business, human resources, education, counselling, or related fields.
- At least 5 years’ experience in working in student development or a related field. This could include experience in programme development, scholarships, student activities, or career services.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments, government agencies and programme partners.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English.
- Mature, have good interpersonal skills and can work well in a team.
- Understand needs beyond the department and how responsibilities as an individual or department can contribute to whole-of-government outcomes.
