**Senior Manager (Data Unit)**:
The Data Unit is established to (1) develop and manage policies related to data management, protection, sharing and storage; and (2) improve best practices and build capabilities in research data collection, analysis and dissemination. It will also strategize, advice, and manage activities that will increase and improve the quality of field research activities in the university, through conducting clinics, workshops and consultations.
The objectives of the Data Unit are to:
- Strengthen the best practices and develop techniques for quality data collection.
- Capacity-build on data analysis for research.
- Upskill researchers in data collection and analysis through consultations and training.
- Establish and enforce policies for effective data management, protection, sharing and storage.
- Contribute to research methodology, and encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration in SUSS.
- Make data collection and analysis resources and expertise visible and easily accessible, at SUSS and externally.
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree holder with at least 10 years of relevant working experiences.
- Possess effective oral, written communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and to rapport with academics and senior management.
- Resourceful and motivated team player who takes initiative.
- Display good business etiquette and work ethics skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
