**Position Overview**:The Overseas Station Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a foreign company's station in Perth, Australia. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong blend of managerial, operational, and cultural competencies. The Station Manager will be the key liaison between the overseas headquarters and the local operations, ensuring effective communication, efficient workflow, and optimal performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Operational Management**:Develop and implement operational strategies to meet business objectives and drive growth.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the station, including staff management, facility maintenance, and equipment upkeep.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on station performance to headquarters.
- **Team Leadership**:Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Provide leadership and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations and supporting their professional development.
- **Financial Oversight**:Develop and manage the station's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
Identify opportunities to enhance revenue generation and cost-saving measures.
- **Client Relationship Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Address client concerns and feedback promptly, seeking opportunities to enhance services and exceed expectations.
- **Compliance and Regulations**:Ensure compliance with local regulations, laws, and industry standards, mitigating risks and maintaining the station's legal and ethical integrity.
- **Communication and Reporting**:Act as the main point of contact between the overseas headquarters and the local station, facilitating effective communication and information exchange.
Prepare regular reports, presentations, and updates to headquarters on station performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- **Strategic Planning**:Contribute to the development of long-term strategies and business plans in collaboration with the overseas management team.
Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to guide strategic decision-making.
- **Cultural Sensitivity**:Demonstrate cultural awareness and adaptability in managing a diverse team and engaging with local stakeholders.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in managerial roles, preferably in international operations or related industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a track record of driving operational improvements.
- Familiarity with local regulations and business practices in Perth.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions.
