Facility Manager

Facility Manager

In this role, you will be involved in:
1. Management of infrastructure supporting facility operations

a. Plan the maintenance programmes of the systems supporting the operations of the facilities, including the ACMV systems, scrubber systems, speciality gas systems, SCADA systems, and laboratory furniture system in the comprehensive maintenance programme.

b. Lead the CTRN facility management team in the performance of the day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.

c. Manage the maintenance contracts, including the coordination of activities with contractors, review of contractor performance, and resolution of conflict with contractors.

d. Perform trouble shooting of anomalies in system performance and system faults, and recommend corrective actions to the Programme Director.

e. Respond to user feedbacks on facility operational issues, and recommend resolutions to the issues.

f. Perform analysis of system trending data, and develop preventive maintenance strategies for the systems.

g. Study energy consumption pattern of the facility and recommend strategies to the Programme Director to improve cost effectiveness of facility operations.

h. Prepare monthly reports on system operational status and issues, and performance of contractors, for review with the Programme Director and Contractors.

i. Involve in the planning and execution of life cycle management of the systems, including mid-life upgrades and system renewals.

j. Assist in the preparation of budgetary requirements for the maintenance and operation of the facilities.

2. Support facility addition and alteration (A&A) activities

a. Lead the preparation of the sites and shifting of laboratories as per phasing plan for the forthcoming A&A for the Blk 6 facilities.

b. Participate as key member of the project teams, in reviewing consultant and contractor activities.

c. Supervise site activities to ensure operational readiness of the critical laboratories supporting CTRN operations during the A&A period.

3. Implementation of technologies and tools for digitalisation and automation of facility operations

a. Analyse work flow for facility management, and define the requirements for digitalisation and automation to improve the efficiency of facility operations.

b. Review commercially available technologies and tools, and performance of cost benefit analysis for the recommended system.

c. Follow through the development and testing and commissioning of the system, including the development of the test plans, and thereafter, the maintenance of the system.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Facility Management/Facility Management & Enhancement/Electrical & Computer Engineering/Engineering Systems & Design/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in data analytics of M&E systems would be an advantage
- Good People Skill in managing contractors and users
- Good time management skills

- Team player with leadership skills to coach junior members
- Proficient in MS office suite
