**The Job**:
As our Ecosystem Lead, you will be a key player on a high impact startup expansion program to support startups enter international markets. We are looking for a great connector who gets their energy from being part of a startup's growth journey. You will be an accomplished networker and Business Developer, utilising your strong links in the Singapore and APAC entrepreneurial ecosystem to engage with exciting startups to come on the journey with us and to find insights which will impact the program more broadly.
**Requirements**:
**Who**:
- You are a strong relationship builder, bringing deep experience doing so within the startup, venture capital or wider partnerships ecosystem
- You are familiar partnering with founders of start-ups from a variety of industries and can quickly pivot your discussion to ensure relevancy
- You're someone who can dive deep into research then look up and out to seek practical solutions, using the insights you gain. You're an analytical individual who backs decisions through data
- You have experience analysing trends / patterns within the start up world, are endlessly curious and are able to move these findings into creating solutions with impact
- You are culturally-sensitive and able to bridge various gaps (cultural, technological, business acumen) when working with founders and stakeholders in new markets, and across Rainmaking more broadly
- You align with our values: kindness, entrepreneurship and impact
**How**:
- You will lead relationship management with startups, influential industry stakeholders, and partners
- You will drive, manage and bring operational excellence to new initiatives as they mature; successfully uncovering areas we can optimise and propose new solutions based on evolving needs
- You will lead industry research and insights to serve our stakeholders better (startups, corporates, government entities) and implement best practice gathered across Rainmaking
- You will own ongoing analysis and assessment of key metrics & data points of the startup ecosystem working with our Scouts and relevant teams
- You will work in close collaboration with key teams within Rainmaking, coordinate and create touch points that deepen connectivity and elevate the feedback loop between Rainmaking and key industry stakeholders
- You will identify trends / patterns within startup ecosystems and create ongoing hypotheses to validate / invalidate assumptions on industry-specific problems; key technology developments and business model shifts
- You will spar with founders and act as a credible sounding board when it comes to expansion strategy; highlighting areas of strengths and weaknesses which may derail the growth curve of startups
