DESIGNATION : TRANSHIPMENT EXECUTIVE, SYSTEMS & DOCUMENTATIONS (Shipping, 6 Months Contract)

As **Transhipment Executive, Systems & Documentations** you will join a dynamic team to handle all related manage all transhipment containers (laden+ empty) in Singapore. You will also have the opportunity to work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Senior Transhipment Executive, your main responsibility is to manage the coordination, tallying-up and transferring of all discharging vessels data into the OVA system and attend to any system problems involving Documentation and Transhipment. Ensuring that discrepancies and errors are duly corrected for the Export/ Import team to perform accurate nomination and planning so that these containers are discharged and reloaded correctly onto the respective second carriers. You will be assigned to assist in the functions of Transhipment Import from time to time. Your key responsibilities include:

- Input and monitor shipment information using MSC proprietary IT system, One Vision Agency (OVA);
- Monitor, input, amend or update Export / Import vessel data into PortNet system as required;
- Ensure discharging vessel data are in order and rectify any issues if present before Cargo Flow Management Import perform container nominations to their vessel;
- Liaise with various Port of Discharge (POD) to ensure discharging vessel data are correct;
- Prepare discharge summary for the Transhipment team usage;
- Update and ensure feeder vessel discharging and loading data is in order before sending to MSC Geneva Transhipment team;
- Update feeder vessels volume with freight charges in TMS system;
- Finalize container information to avoid data discrepancy in the OVA system;
- Input Transhipment data in Ispace system;
- Identify and initiate improvement areas and develop good control procedures and best practices to enhance overall operations, work quality and efficiency;
- Support Senior Transhipment Executive, Systems & Documentation Team Lead in adhoc projects / tasks and cover in his / her absence.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum GCE "A" level, or Diploma in Shipping, Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in container shipping or freight forwarding industry;
- Ability to lead a small section to manage and measure work performance;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Organised and process oriented;
- Positive attitude and able to work under pressure;
- Meticulous with an eye for details;
- Initiative and the ability to work independently;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word);
