As A4V Category Market Manager, you are the owner of marketing success for the audio-for-video market. With enthusiasm and curiosity, you maintain a deep understanding of the video creator market and work across functions to plan, strategize, and execute marketing that helps us engage with and generate demand for Sennheiser products in your category. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Pro Audio, this role is responsible for maintaining an always-on integrated marketing plan informed by expertise across the broader marketing team. With the support of campaign and project management resources, you will drive execution to realize meaningful results guided by our business strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Category vision owner: Set category marketing objectives based on business strategy, sales targets, and focus topics, as part of the annual planning process
- With input from marketing peers, develop a cohesive category marketing strategy, with related tactics and KPIs, that sights the stated category goals
- Monitor and anticipate market trends, customer preferences, emerging technologies, and competitive activities
- Track and regularly report status/results of planned activities. Be an internal evangelist for the category - provide highlights, lessons learned, and recognition for broader team efforts
- Drive, monitor, and guide a rolling 12-month category marketing plan, as supported by campaign and project management resources
- Support portfolio management with insights for roadmap planning and setting positioning for new products. Set launch classification and marketing launch budgets for new products
- Represent Sennheiser externally as an expert spokesperson for by-line opportunities, panel discussions, video interviews and other public-facing activities promoting thought leadership and positive brand image in the category
- Serve as final approver of all customer-facing creative and content. Ensure that value propositions are relayed through clear and impactful copy that resonates with buyers, influencers, and industry press, while aligned with Sennheiser Brand Values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, PR or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive mindset
- Acute familiarity with the video content creator market, through professional work experience or through avocation
- Technical understanding of both audio and video product solutions in this space, design workflows, and use cases
- Strategic thinking, to understand the customer, the market, and the competition and then synthesize a marketing approach for greatest impact
- Broad marketing experience with a general understanding of effective marketing levers for this market
- Strong influence skills, to work cross-functionally with portfolio management, sales, and specialist marketing teams who may not report to you
- Excellent communication skills, including both live and written presentations, to help ‘carry the message’ across different parts of Sennheiser and externally to the market and key account partners
