**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Development and optimization of operation processes and feedback to concepts
- Manage out-tasking provider to carry out daily server operations.
- Quality and compliance check (e.g. Qualys scan, patch and antivirus management)
- Automation of tasks and activities
- Optimization of the server landscape (global and regional)
- Installation, operation and monitoring of Windows Server HW, OS and OS-related SW according to defined concepts)
- Space/Capacity Management
- Continuous performance analysis of server systems
- Continuous improvement of availability, quality, and efficiency of existing system solutions
- Participate weekly shift of 2nd and 3rd level trouble shooting
- Participate Problem management activities
- Request fulfillment of Server Team related Services
- Actively share know-how in the Group and maintain continuous contact with the customers of the systems and areas under your responsibility
- Project support for customer projects
- Proactive optimization of existing system solutions
- Occasional outside-office-hour works for global meeting and maintenance work.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- This position requires a BS degree in Computer Science or comparable degree and 5 years of experience.
- Good expertise in handling Microsoft client and server operating systems as well as in the area of network technology (in an office and industry environment)
- Minimum MCSA: Windows Server 2016 or equivalent certification or knowledge is required.
- VMware VCP level knowledge is required.
- ITIL foundation level knowledge is required.
- Scripting knowledge such as Powershell is required.
- Knowledge / experience on Microsoft Azure Solutions is an advantage.
- Any other IT infrastructure certificates and/or experiences such as Storage, Network are advantage.
- Several years of professional experience with expertise in the areas of IT Disaster Recovery and thereof Backup Restore for Server Infrastructure.
- Experience with IT infrastructure implementation projects
- Project management and/or provider management capabilities will be an advantage.
- Inventory management skill for a responsible area is required
- The employee can make a decision based on the given standard operation manuals and procedures.

- Decision making ability for a group is an advantage.
- Adequate level of verbal and written skills in English is a must.
- Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies.
- Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
- Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
- Needs guidance (but not supervision) to communicate with other people by speaking in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports.
