Our client is a leading technology services firm, operating across Asia Pacific, providing services and solutions in consulting, digital, technology, cybersecurity and more. There diverse 12,000-strong workforce has delivered a wealth of large-scale, mission-critical, and multi-platform projects for governments and enterprises in Singapore and the APAC region.

**Role & Responsibility**
- System/ Server Engineer is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/ configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure
- Role assists project teams during the planning phase with technical issues identified during project delivery phases. These activities include technical analysis and design; and support of the IT Operations team in executing, testing and deploying solutions.
- The critical nature of IT systems, this role participates in the after-hours on-call roster.
- Working with server infrastructure at client sites to deliver a stable platform for our customers.
- Performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures and coordinating and communicating with impacted clients

**Requirements**:

- Min. 5 years of relevant working experience
- Windows server hand on experience, even better if equipped with Linux or Unix server maintenance.
- Backups.
- Hands-on experience on Windows 2008, 2012 and above
- AD
- Preferably with experience in administration in Microsoft Messaging (MS Exchange)
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Windows and AD
- Experience in implementing and operating Windows, AD and clustering, Group Policy
- Knowledge of data communication and network knowledge in Windows server environment

**Contract Role - Up to 6 - Months to 1 Year, extension and conversion, based on performance.**

**Client is quite good in keeping their employees, can convert even early based on performance.**
