**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Performance Marketing, to join our Book on Wego Hotels team. In this role, you will develop and execute performance marketing and paid marketing strategies across distribution channels, including metasearch channels like Google Hotel Ads, Skyscanner, Kayak, and affiliate marketing. This role will be extremely data driven, so you will be expected to use your skills to deepdive into attribution, ROI, LTV and retention of BOW users and follow the data to identify high value segments, new opportunities and pain points in the marketing funnel and user journey. You will also manage the day-to-day operations of the performance marketing function, including campaign planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
**What you will do**:
- Develop and execute performance marketing and paid marketing strategies across distribution channels, including metasearch channels and affiliate marketing, ensuring every traveller is exposed to the most relevant and competitive offers.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the performance marketing function, including campaign planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
- Develop and manage a performance marketing budget to maximise return on investment and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyse and report on key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and return on investment, to measure campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the central data team and VP of Data to scope out new analytics projects within your function and manage your data projects as part of a central data roadmap.
- Perform an in depth analysis of marketing performance and build data products to help empower you and the team to understand the impact and success of your campaigns.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, data, and commercial, to ensure that performance marketing campaigns are aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
- Manage marketing automation tools like SA360 to optimise campaigns and manage large datasets and keyword sets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in performance marketing and paid marketing to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Continuously analyse data to identify trends and opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve engagement with the target audience.
**Who you are**:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field;
- You have 5+ years of experience in performance marketing and paid marketing, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have a strong understanding of performance marketing channels, metrics, and optimisation techniques and a deep knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce trends.
- You have hands-on experience with marketing automation tools like SA360 and managing large datasets and keyword sets.
- You have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making.
- You have strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- You have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of marketing professionals.
- You are extremely comfortable working with large and complex datasets, digging into the details to derive insights, pain points and bugs.
- You have experience building dashboards and analytics with tools such as Looker, Looker studio, Tableau or Power BI.
- Ideally you have experience working with cloud data warehousing technologies such as AWS or GCP and experience in coding in SQL or python.
