**1. Role Description**
This position reports to the Finance(SEA) Lead and interfaces with internal stakeholders and Finance staff. Cleantech Solar is a leading provider of renewable energy to corporations in Southeast Asia and India. The company owns and operates more than 300 solar power plants across the 8 countries. **2. Specific Responsibilities**
The individual will have the opportunity to:
- Hands-on experience supporting a Southeast Asia Finance team with operations in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam.
- Provide support for month-end/year-end closing and assist in preparation of monthly/yearly financial statements
- Witness the accounting impact of taxes (GST/ VAT/ Corporate tax, Withholding taxes)
- Provide support to annual standalone entities and group audits
- Participate in automation and digitalisation initiatives (ERP implementation) to improve financial insights and reporting processes
- Assist in preparation of key decision-making tools for management
- Other ad hoc tasks
**3. Competencies**
Engage with stakeholders to understand the finance processes and participate in the drafting of policy documents
- Active participation in automation initiatives and all reporting processes, including working with internal and external stakeholders on the whole automation process
- Assist and prepare any required tools in the management reporting or decision process, including ensuring accuracy of data and format for submission
- Support in all accounting activities for Southeast Asia Solar finance team, including all month end closing process to ensure books are closed on time and accurate
**4. Duration of Internship Offered**
Must be able to commit at least 3 months full time
