**Roles & Responsibilities**
**1. Role Description**
This position reports to the Finance (SEA) Lead and interfaces with internal stakeholders and Finance staff. Cleantech Solar is a leading provider of renewable energy to corporations in Southeast Asia and India. The company owns and operates more than 300 solar power plants across the 8 countries. **2. Specific Responsibilities**
The individual will have the opportunity to:
1. Build and maintain financial models to support financial projections
2. Participate in automation and digitalisation initiatives to improve financial insights and reporting processes
3. Assist in preparation of key decision making tools for management
4. Provide accounting support for the Southeast Asia solar platform
**3. Competencies**
1. Active participation in finance modelling and projections, including developing models
2. Engage with stakeholders to understand the finance processes and participate in the drafting of policy documents
3. Active participation in automation initiatives and all reporting processes, including working with internal and external stakeholders on the whole automation process
4. Assist and prepare any required tools in the management reporting or decision process, including ensuring accuracy of data and format for submission
5. Support in all accounting activities for Southeast Asia Solar platform, including all month end closing process to ensure books are closed on time and accurate
**4. Duration of Internship Offered**
Must be able to commit at least 4 months full time
Cleantech Solar is a solar developer that finances, constructs, owns and operates solar projects. We are headquartered in Singapore and operate across Pan Asia, focusing on long-term investments within the commercial and industrial customer segments.
