Our **Chevron New Energies **organization is looking for individuals who have an entrepreneurial mindset and are passionate about growing lower carbon business in hydrogen & ammonia, carbon capture, carbon offsets and select renewable power opportunities. We are focused on delivering solutions oriented around our customers’ needs.

The **Commercial Coordinator - Hydrogen**, is responsible for **(1) **developing the customer base for Chevron’s lower-carbon hydrogen & ammonia business in one or more Asia Pacific countries; **(2) **providing commercial guidance and analysis to progress opportunities at various points along the hydrogen value chain, from very earliest-stage concept through development; and **(3) **supporting development and execution of regional business strategy. The Commercial Coordinator reports to the General Manager, Hydrogen, Asia Pacific, in Chevron New Energies, based in our Singapore office. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow a fast-moving new business in a strategically important region, building on Chevron’s existing assets, capabilities, and customer relationships.

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:
Enable the commercial viability of various lower carbon hydrogen and ammonia supply opportunities by shaping new project concepts, identifying potential co-developers, formulating partnership models, building customer relationships, and negotiating offtake contracts with early adopters.

**Required Qualifications**:

- ** Renewable Energy**:Minimum 2 years of commercial and/or technical experience with the development of lower-carbon hydrogen or ammonia supply opportunities specifically from renewable energy sources, OR 8 years direct commercial experience with renewable power development.
- ** Early Concept Opportunity Framing**:Able to distil the essence of ambiguous opportunities, clearly articulate the potential value proposition, and propose workable structures with partners to realize the value.
- ** Commercial Skills**:Fundamental understanding of the hydrogen value chain specifically in Asia Pacific, with demonstrated ability to originate, develop and negotiate commercial structures & agreements, including offtake, to grow a new business.
- ** Build & Maintain Relationships**: Skilled at building trusting relationships inside and outside of our company including with existing and new customers, co-developers, governments, and other important external stakeholders.

**Relocation Options**:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

**International Considerations**:
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
