Care Corner Singapore Ltd was founded in 1981, in a climate of changes in the early 1980s, as economic competition in the region intensified and the rift between the wealthy and the lower-income in particular the Chinese blue-collar workers, widened. Rev Tan Tien Ser and a group of passionate individuals believed that these marginalised people with lower income and little opportunities for a formal education could be helped to realise their potential and become more competent and fulfilled persons. - Work Location: Woodlands

You will be part of the team to provide marriage and divorce support services for marital couples, divorcing and divorced families and children, which include case management, counselling and family dispute management. You are also expected to run programmes catering to the unique needs of families facing divorce.
- Conduct counselling for individuals, couples and families who is experiencing stress due to family-related issues, including marriage, divorce, parent-child relationships or issues among siblings or extended family.
- Provide support group therapy for parents and children
- Facilitate co-parenting programmes and workshop to help equip parents with knowledge of positive parent-child relationship, and build strategies in managing their co-parenting through counselling and coaching of parenting issues.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5-7 years of relevant counselling experience in education, counselling, social work, or related work involving family, parents and children, and have experience in conducting training and workshop
- Passion for parenting work to strengthen family life

**Qualifications**:

- Possess a SAC recognised Post-Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree in Counselling; OR
- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology/Applied Psychology (Counselling); OR
- Bachelor Degree in Counselling or Bachelor Degree in related fields (Social Work) with a recognised certification in Counselling
