**Your role in a nutshell**:
Purpose of role:
To deliver accurate commercial sales forecasts for assigned markets. This entails working with internal business partners - e.g., market commercial teams, supply chain managers, stakeholders, etc. to reach an aligned forecast that drives the Sales and Operation Plan

Key Job Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain forecast that is accurate, complete, and unbiased that accurately predicts the future state of the business within the agreed planning horizon
- Provide the business perspective/insights on the current state of the business, risks, and upsides to the forecast.
- Execute forecasting process with excellence - e.g., timely completion of activities, liaising with business partners to gather business intelligence, data gathering, analysis, S&OP preparation, etc.
- Build the forecast across the agreed forecast horizon
- Lead forecast alignment with business partners
- Maintain product assortment - e.g., life cycle status, etc
- Reporting - accurate and timely reporting, developing reports as necessary, etc.
- Deliver KPI targets - e.g., forecast accuracy, etc.
- Develop tools that will help improve forecast accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the forecasting process
- Continues improvement - lead and/or actively support continuous improvement efforts
- Documentation of processes as necessary
**What we look for**:
**Experience**:
- Beauty industry experience is an advantage
- Supply Chain experience especially in the areas of demand (forecasting) and supply planning is an advantage
- Forecasting Process - familiarity and exposure to the forecasting process, and understanding key steps/activities of a forecasting process is an advantage
- SAP - fundamental understanding/knowledge and experience in SAP is an advantage
Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain or related field is an advantage
- Excel - advanced level in Excel - e.g. pivot table, macros, advanced formulas, dashboards, etc
- Power Point - intermediate level - e.g. animation, slide builds, etc.
- Analytical Skills - personal or work experience related to the acquisition/improvement of analytical skill

- Able to synergize/meld data, market intelligence, and business knowledge into an accurate forecast and provide insight to the Markets on the current state of the business.

- Able to articulate complex concepts in a simple manner and drive home key messages to internal business partners and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement - able to improve business operations - e.g., work processes, etc.
Manage Challenging Situation - able to bring/steer difficult situation(s) to closure - e.g., get alignment (or agree to disagree) in a discussion where there are differing opinions or points of view, etc.
