**What the role is**
- This role will support the development of the OneMSF database, to collect and analyse data on organisations and resourcing for the social service sector.
**What you will be working on**
- Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing a new database that will support policy formulation, sector planning and programme reviews by MSF/NCSS.
- Developing policies and guidelines for the regularisation of social service sector data.
- Developing business specifications and processes to digitise and optimise data collection, compilation, analysis and sharing.
- Supporting MSF/NCSS divisions in discovering insights through data analysis and visualisation, and developing use cases for their data.
- Supporting the Manpower Planning team in analysis of manpower data to inform reviews of manpower policies for the sector.
**What we are looking for**
- Functional/ Technical Competencies
- Strong analytical, systems-thinking and conceptualisation skills.
- Strong data skills (including data management, analytics, visualisation).
- Proficiency in the following software is an advantage: Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAS.
- Relevant work experience in data projects is preferred.
- Ability to balance strategic objectives with practical ground realities.
