As a Aircraft Project Manager, you will be accountable for establishing and adhering to policies, objectives and procedures for all aircraft and engineering related projects. It's a highly responsible, thorough and rewarding career path.

As part of the Jetstar Asia Engineering & Maintenance team, you will have the opportunity to ensuring the total airworthiness of our growing fleet of aircraft.

Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, your main accountabilities will include:

- Management of all phases of engineering projects, including financial budgeting and tracking of expenditure, and ensuring project is delivered in the most timely, cost effective and safe manner.
- Liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Management and liaison with associated contracted maintenance organizations and service providers to ensure compliance to contractual, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Be the focal point for E&M for inter-department or inter-company projects.
- The Aircraft Project Manager may delegate his duties to any qualified persons, as necessary. However, such delegation shall not relieve him of the overall responsibilities.
- Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Engineering.

To be considered for these roles you will ideally have:

- Degree/Diploma in Aerospace/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or Licence Aircraft Engineer (need not be current)
- Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience in aviation industry, with minimum 3 years in a supervisory position.
- At least 2 of which should be in managing engineering projects related to aircraft inductions and lease returns
- Knowledge of Trax Maintenance software is preferred.
- Familiar with Civil Aviation Authority (CAAS) requirements and procedures.
- Familiar with various aircraft technical manuals.
