Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, OEM Strategy & Procurement, this role involves overseeing aircraft programs and working closely with airline customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to implement specifications on aircraft.

The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with airframe manufacturers to ensure products are manufactured to required specification and quality standards, while being delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting aircraft placement campaigns with internal stakeholders
  • Working with the marketing team on specification and Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) matters during letter of intent and lease negotiations
  • Providing pricing inputs for aircraft specification and BFE
  • Evaluating airline customer specifications and providing support for pricing and specification checks
  • BFE Supply Management: Developing a sustainable buying strategy for BFE engagement aligned with company goals, developing a network within BFE suppliers, leading pricing negotiations, and regularly sharing market insights and trends with key stakeholders
  • Market Trending Analysis: Engagement with airframe OEM and BFE suppliers to establish latest market trending for aircraft systems and cabin products, monitoring airworthiness mandates for regular reporting and implementation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or a licensed aircraft engineer or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Technical Services, Procurement, Aircraft Project roles, or similar capacity with an airline, aircraft lessor, and OEM
  • Candidates with experiences in aircraft configuration, specification pricing, BFE contracts management, and project management will be highly considered
  • Demonstrate good knowledge and competency of various civil aviation jurisdictions and airworthiness requirements
