Commercial Operations Executive

**Job Responsibility**
- Responsible for day-to-day commercial operations of VLCC vessels managed by the company’s commercial managers
- Support commercial managers for pre and post fixture matters.
- Liaise with the out-house technical managers of VLCCs as needed
- Promptly and efficiently manage and track all day-to-day on-water and in-port activities of allocated vessels.
- Monitor vessels’ bunker consumptions as stipulated in vessel’s charter party and TCD.
- Working collaboratively with other departments like Technical, Crewing, LPSQ and Accounts
- Effectively manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Using relevant performance tools to monitor, manage, and report fleet performance & efficiency
- Managing transparent and professional supplier relationships.
- Manage all fleet marine insurance renewals and claims that may arise from time to time for allocated vesselsActive engagement in building customer knowledge and relationships.
**Job Requirement**
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on VLCC/Tanker commercial operations & Marine insurance
- Basic Degree or Diploma in Shipping
- Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and compliance requirements.
- Good knowledge of Maritime Law with regards to commonly used charter parties & bills of lading
- Good understanding of various Marine Insurances (P&I, H&M, LOH, K&R)
- Well versed with marine insurance terms and conditions, common endorsements/exclusions, typical cost structures of different insurance policies.
- Highly organized, meticulous, team player, has good interpersonal and communication skills
