The Director of Strategic Sourcing - Asia will be responsible for the strategic sourcing function for Pall Industrial business in Asia (Less China) as well as non-operations based tactical procurement. You will manage Pall’s strategic sourcing team in Asia in support of its’ “base” manufacturing facility in Japan & Singapore, as well as be responsible for the region's indirect spending strategy.

This position is part of the Strategic Sourcing Team and will be located in Tuas, Singapore - Hybrid.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Be responsible for the implementation Pall’s strategic sourcing strategy, policies, tools, and procedures in Asia and ensure its related objectives be fulfilled.

Be responsible for various KPI’s of strategic sourcing; including but not limited to Net Deflation, PPV, VAVE, DPO/Supplier payment improvement, and supply risk management.

Lead team to proactively identify and manage various types of sourcing projects execution, drive year-over-year spending cost productivity aggressively meanwhile ensure supplier quality and on-time delivery.

Lead team to manage key supplier relationships (Grow, Maintain, Exit, Termination) in the region and negotiate critical supply contracts, including analyzing market data, evaluating supply alternatives, creating negotiation strategies, and conducting key supplier business reviews.

Lead team to participate in the NPI/NPD projects tollgate review and supplier on manufacturability, raw material selection to achieve most optional cost, get appropriate supplier early involvement to accelerate new product development and launch.

Champion continuous improvement (Kaizen) in both internal sourcing team and external suppliers. Develop key suppliers to meet Pall "Preferred/Qualified Suppliers”.

Lead Strategic Sourcing activities in the Asia Region relating to the build-out of the new Pall facility in Singapore, as well to work collaboratively with the Strategic Sourcing Director in China to achieve mutual benefits to Pall Industrial as a whole

**The essential requirements of the job include**:
BS Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry sourcing experience with MNC. Spend responsibilities over $50 Million USD, people management experience, and a thorough understanding and experience in sourcing processes and practices

Proven track record in the recruitment, development and management of a sizeable strategic sourcing team.

Hands-on experience and success in achieving net deflation and productivity, supplier performance, relationship and risk management.

Knowledge of manufacturing process, strong supplier development experience, exposure in high-mix low-volume (HMLV) environment preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills ; Good business acumen, ability to manage through changes and uncertainties

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
Experience of new factory builds in Singapore beneficial
