Membrane Research Intern

Singapore NTI MEMTECH PTE. LTD. Full time

Currently, we are looking for engineering and science interns with interests in membrane research, development, and production.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Support and assist in QC inspections for daily membrane production (lab works).
- Maintain quality-related documentations (soft & hard copy) including SOPs, check lists, reports, etc.
- Support and assist in the testing for new membrane products.
- Assist in the Maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
- Other related duties assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Familiar with handling chemicals.
- Strong hands-on capability and independent in performing experiments such as i) general chemical experiments; ii) how to use basic lab equipment like weighing balance, pH meter, pipette and etc; iii) laboratory safety practice. For any other equipment like FTIR, UV-Vis and TOC, they will be trained before they can operate.
- Good understanding of safe lab practice.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with equipment and material suppliers/ manufacturers based in China would be advantageous.
- Good team player, self-driven and meticulous.
- University or Polytechnic Year 3/ Year 4 students are preferred.
