**What you’ll do***:
**Your key responsibilities***:
a) Key areas of accountability/responsibility
- Prepare prototypes for customer presentations
- Prepare reports on trials, experiments as required by TSM and sales team
- Carry out technical service requests in support of sales of DSM products
- Maintain the laboratory and equipment in good condition and working order by following accepted laboratory practice, work instructions and requirements of the Quality System.
- Monitor raw material and ingredient stock levels to ensure availability for trials
- Order raw materials, ingredients as required for trials and testing purposes
- Ensure lab is always in a clean, presentable state
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives

b) Authorities
- 1. Schedule sample testing

c) Projects/special assignments
- Validation and verification of new equipment and new raw materials / ingredients

**You bring**:

- Bachelors Degree in Science and Food Technology
- At least 1-2 years experience in a related laboratory environment
- Ability to use spreadsheet programs and related PC skills - SAP skill would be a plus
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality systems (ISO, HACCP), and consequent requirement for thorough documentation.
