**What the role is**

The Resilience and Engagement Division (RED) aims to grow a strong civic culture and
strengthen social cohesion by promoting shared values, citizen engagement, and national
identity.
The division coordinates and develops Whole-of-Government (WOG) citizen engagement capabilities and high impact engagement programmes, to nurture an active citizenry and foster a culture of shared responsibility for the common good. It coordinates the SG Cares movement to build a more caring and inclusive home, through everyday acts of consideration and care, active volunteerism and ground-up efforts. RED also drives integration efforts to strengthen social cohesion.

**What you will be working on**

You will be part of a team to identify opportunities, develop strategies and implement plans to foster active citizenry, promote the Singapore Spirit and social integration. You will promote, manage and ensure smooth operation of the divisions’ grant schemes.
Your responsibilities include:

- Support the work of the National Integration Council (NIC) including agenda setting, planning support and secretariat duties, and co-ordinating the NIC’s various project teams.
- Map and understand stakeholder landscape to develop effective engagement and partnership strategies to build a community of collaborative partners who can support stronger integration and greater sense of belonging to Singapore.
- Identify and scope potential interventions in collaboration with other agencies and key partners to improve cohesion at the workplaces and in the community.
- Formulate resources and programmes to support the development of partners’
capabilities to engage their own communities effectively and to deliver impactful ground-up initiatives.
- Manage the division’s grant schemes such as the Community Integration Fund (CIF) and Integration Programme Budget (IPB) effectively and efficiently, by promoting awareness and interest, overseeing funding assessment and partnership agreements, and monitoring of grant take-up and disbursements.
- Manage the periodic review of grants schemes and processes to ensure effective administration.

**What we are looking for**
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in facilitating partnerships and engagement work and/or grant management, with interest in immigration and integration issues
- Comfortable with start-up style work, and collaborating with partner agencies and community groups
- Mature, articulate, adaptable, highly resourceful and self-motivated
- Good analytical skills coupled with ability to think creatively and strategically
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team player
