Job Scope:
1. Spearhead operational directives for Indian Mamak Food Production business entity.

2. Develop and recommend menu items and procure vegetables, meat and dairy items from Central Kitchen and Suppliers for Indian Mamak dishes.

3. Able to dish out simple Mamak dishes such as Satay Goreng, Satay Sauce, Marination of meats, Mutton Keema, Beef Keema, Mee Goreng Pastes, Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng Pastes, Nasi Goreng, Prata Dough, Thosai Batter, etc. in the absence of staff, work hands-on with staff.

4. Ensure business developmental initiatives are followed through completion and work with relevant departments for the various projects - kiosk offers, online offers, and regular customer orders.

5. Manage cleanliness schedules and work as a team with the staff on site for daily opening, closing, scheduled and preventive maintenances, and cleaning duties.

6. Able to manage Halal sourcing and be part of the Halal team.

7. Provide optimal customer service standards adhering to regulatory requirements (hygiene, safety) and company standards.

8. Operate the POS System to manage menus and orders.

9. Coordinate with the IT Executive (POS System) on fault reports, downtime and upgrades.

10. Ensure Production Kitchen KPIS are evaluated, met and reported.

11. Conducted daily closing and financial reporting for day close, expense report, weekly report, and monthly report.

12. Prepare financial reports, Income and Expense Report at the end of the month for office team validation.

13. Responsible for salary payments of staff and record-keeping, closely liaising with the office team.

14. Manage menu in online for boosting Platform deliveries. Well-informed of markup strategies and platform promotion techniques.

15. Ensure effective coordination with other branches to fulfill the sales targets and expansion plans.

16. Provide timely and regular feedback on business trends, phases and initiatives to support growth and expansion.

17. Reports to the Director.

Skills Required/ Soft Skills:

- Possess strong knowledge of Indian Mamak Food Business.
- Possess business candour for uplifting service standards and sales.
- Able to work long hours as operations commence from 6am to 10pm.
- Possess strong leadership qualities to manage staff and business.

Educational Qualification:

- Degree Qualification, preferably in F&B (or) more than 8 years experience in the field.

Years of Experience:

- At least 8 years running Indian Mamak Shop business

Key Criteria:

- Strong knowledge/experience in Indian Mamak Food Business
- Ability to back up cooks to dish out foods
- Able to work long hours

Working Condition:

- Production Kitchen Facility
- Long hours due to long operational hours
- Physically able to stand long hours
- Hot Kitchen environment

Specific Training Requirements:

- Basic Hygiene Cert is a must, if not we will send for training
