Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF) is the official association for the têxtile and fashion industry in Singapore and plays an active role in the development of the industry. TaFF is the operator for The Cocoon Space and Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS).

**DORS**, the retail showcase located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally-based designer brands in Singapore.

The Assistant Retail Store Manager is a key member of the DORS family and the face of DORS to our customers. Knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, you will provide a unique experience that embodies our Brand DNA.

As this role is in a service environment, you should be someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills with a great and welcoming personality. He/She should inspire, lead and develop the team to deliver a seamless customer experience to make every visit to DORS unforgettable.

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Meet sales goals by managing, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to retail staff and managing team.
- Manage stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
- Oversee product pricing, maintain statistical and financial records.
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Handle frontend customer service feedback.
- Ensure that safety, security and administration procedures are adhered to.
- Manage retail staff such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals.
- Be responsible for the training and development of staff including coaching and mentoring them.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives.
- Assist with any other duties and tasks as assigned by our Store Manager.

**Pre-requisites**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing a store and team.
- Self-motivated and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent planning, organizing, leadership and motivation skills.
- Possess ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a very fast pace environment.
- Believes in importance of training and development to coach and mentor team members to achieve greater heights.
- Customer oriented and operation savvy.
- Have a positive, cheerful demeanor, and be a team player.
- Are excited about, and supportive of, local fashion brands, products, and stories.
- Want to be part of a retail family that sets common goals and works together to create a positive, supportive work and retail environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office to do store analysis and reports.
