Head of Store Planning

• Participate and Contribute to the Global Store Planning and Innovation Communities
• Lead store, restaurant and office designs and adaptations in line with Brand guidelines to deliver Commercial Vision, complete with VM, Graphics and Music direction
• Drive innovation in store planning, implement circular design and sustainability initiatives
• Work closely with landlords and brand partners on tenders and design and construction
• Maintain strong portfolio of agencies and contractors, through tendering process ensure delivery of quality and efficient projects
• Ensure all applicable regulations are observed
• Support Operations and provide framework on maintenance and refurbishment concerns and respond to emergencies to minimize disruption
• Direct Visual Merchandising and through VM Community supported by VM guide, enhance presentations to maximize store and product visibility
• Working closely with Commercial and Marketing Team to deliver engaging Content and Communication in both physical and digital formats to entice customers, and drive penetration, conversion and spend
• Support profitable and sustainable growth by working closely with Business Development on tender and M&A targets, provide economical, achievable quotations and compelling concepts and designs
• Prepare Budget and track costs on each project, create and maintain centralized Store Planning database (CAPEX, preferred vendors, compliances & regulations, timeline, costs & budgets), enable effective benchmarking to drive improvement
• Drive projects' full life cycle through detailed planning, manage changes and interventions with solutions to deliver within target timeline and budgets

Profile & Competencies
Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Project Management, Construction, Architecture, or Retail / Commerce with relevant project management experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in multi-national organizations specialized in retail and dining, (travel retail, FMCG) including 2-3 years in Project Management and store planning, particularly in the development of new retail concepts.
• Acquired knowledge and experience in the preparation of research documentation, tender submissions, business plans and proposals, and strategic plans.
• Flexible in working hours, as well as excellent organization, problem solving and communication skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills, including MS Project or similar project management software. Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Mandarin a plus.
• Willingness to travel a plus.
