**Your New Role**
Are you an Enthusiastic Technical Support Manager? Eager to get involved in creating business opportunities by driving understanding of our products? Survitec now has an exciting opportunity for you to come on board as our new Technical Support Manager.
Are you a team player, strategic and passionate about building excellent relationships with customers?
Reporting into the Head of Customer Service, you will provide specialist product knowledge that informs commercial, sales and product strategy. You will create business opportunities by driving understanding of the product set, increasing knowledge and confidence of colleagues to develop offers that demonstrate exceptional fit with customer requirements. The role drives increased revenues for associated product categories.
**What You Can Expect from the Role**
**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- ** **You will utilise a deep understanding of Survitec customer markets and deep technical and commercial knowledge of specific product categories to develop and recommend appropriate and commercially sound customer solutions
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, representing them effectively in the product development process, ensuring planned product innovations remain relevant and attractive to specific target markets
- Supporting your sales colleagues to build and present bespoke solutions; build core presentation materials and supplements these with deep product insight to ensure sales presentations to decision makers and influencers leverage product benefits. Ask relevant questions to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation
- You will develop a personal network within the sales function and provide Sales colleagues with technical support for customer presentations, trade shows and other events promote Survitec and enhance its reputation
- You will be providing product knowledge training to a range of sales, customer service and engineering colleagues, to increase technical knowledge and equip colleagues to solve customer queries and problems. Acts as escalation point for complex issues and questions
- Providing a technical review of the customer order specification, defining the scope of the order, and ensuring accurate and appropriate costings and offer development
- Monitoring overall performance of the product category, identifying opportunities to drive product awareness and increase revenues, providing specialised product training or coaching to others throughout the organisation
- Involved in working with a range of stakeholders to gather detailed product feedback, carry out product and market analyses and support category management decisions

**Skills**
**Essential**
- ** **3 + years of technical product experience, enabling the role holder to understand and support a range of technical queries
- 3 + years of managerial experience, supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific business goals
- Educated to university degree level
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise allocated work tasks
- You must have excellent customer management relationship skills
- Driven to achieve results
