**What the role is**
- You will be part of a team that is responsible for managing visitors as well as events and activities at the Marina Barrage. The scope includes supporting the Marina Barrage as a venue for events as well as organizing PUB flagship events. You will also be supporting the day-to-day operation of Marina Barrage Information Counter and the Sustainable Singapore Gallery including providing customer service, tours, school programmes and activities.
**What you will be working on**
- Your roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:
- Support in the operational, administration and execution of the rented spaces in Marina Barrage
- Handling events and activities enquiries on the use of venues.
- Plan, execute and manage Marina Barrage flagship events which includes marketing, publicity and seeking partnership.
- Work with appointed Vendor to plan and execute programmes and events for the Sustainable Singapore Gallery
- Procure goods and services and manage contracts relevant to visitor management operations and event related works
- Plan and coordinate regular and special tours and visits for public and VIPs
- Respond to public feedback, enquiries, and filming requests
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
**What we are looking for**
- Diploma in Business / Mass Communications / Hospitality & Tourism/Events Management or equivalent, with 1-2 years of working experience.
- Positive ,dynamic and good team player
- Good inter-personal skills, resourceful and pro-active.
- Strong organisation, communication, writing and presentation skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Able to work irregular hours, late evening and on weekends when appropriate.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice preferred
