**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
You will be part of the NHG Eye Institute in driving, developing and implementing the projects/initiatives related to the Institute. You will be responsible for the daily operations and administration including budgeting, quality control of policies and procedures as well as managing the overall performance of the department. Your major responsibilities include:
Primary Eye Care
- Steering the operations of the Primary Eye Care for care delivery, and the Singapore Integrated Diabetic Retinopathy Programme;
- Supporting the right siting of patient care in primary care setting;
- Overseeing funding programme initiatives in training, quality and audit outcome internally and to meet the Ministry’s expectations;
- Planning and delivering the Institute’s community outreach programmes by collaborating with community partners;
- Developing and delivering public/patient education collaterals and programmes, as well as training materials for Primary Care Practitioners;
- Establishing collaborative ties with other stakeholders in the multi-institutions National Programmes / Initiatives;
- Providing secretariat support to the internal and multi-institutions steering committees
Delivery of Clinical Service
- Measuring, reviewing and reporting practice variance in services and identify best of class practice for continuous improvement;
- Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the IT systems and platforms required for the care delivery of Primary Eye Care and Institute
The Requirements
Degree with at least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
Excellent analytical, coordination, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership and people management skills
Problem-solving orientation; resilience and creativity
