Manager/assistant Director

**What the role is**
- Rapid urbanisation and growing concerns about sustainable development have increased foreign interest in MND's expertise in urban planning and management, public housing, construction and greening. As Manager/Assistant Director (International Relations Strategy), you will be part of a team that drives MND's foreign engagements to leverage on opportunities in achieving MND's objectives and support Singapore's broader bilateral engagements.
**What you will be working on**
- Advancing and safeguarding MND’s strategic interests and work with other agencies to achieve Whole-of-Government objectives. Identifying and processing key issues that affects MND's work in international cooperation with countries and international organisations, in line with developments in the international arena Reviewing and recommending MND's foreign engagement approaches; Assessing engagement requests in consultation with MND Family and WOG agencies; Preparing briefs and reports for senior management; Planning and executing exchanges with foreign dignitaries in Singapore and overseas; Working closely with other government agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Statutory Boards in the MND Family.
**What we are looking for**
- A Degree in any discipline. Deep interest in international and domestic affairs; Strong analytical and conceptual abilities; Excellent written and oral communication; Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team; Demonstrated a good track record of project management capabilities; Strong planning and organisational abilities, with a keen eye for details; Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight timeline; and Applicants with at least 3-5 years of working experience preferred. Knowledge of the mechanisms of foreign diplomacy, processes and dynamics in bilateral and multilateral settings will be an advantage.
