What The Role Is
You lead and supervise a small team to leverage data science methods and techniques to enhance MINDEF/SAF's strategic communications.
What The Role Is
You lead and supervise a small team to leverage data science methods and techniques to enhance MINDEF/SAF's strategic communications.
What You Will Be Working On
Supervise the derivation of data-driven insights and recommendations from the application of data science, integrated with social science insights, to study MINDEF/SAF's audiences and defence-related issues
Supervise the translation of data into visual insights and recommendations to guide MINDEF/SAF's strategic communications strategy, policy and planning across public and internal communications, and community engagement
Guide the team to develop and maintain the communications data architecture to support analysis and decision-making
Challenge(s)
Translating complex data and technical findings to strategic communications practitioners and decision makers
Understanding MINDEF/SAF's organisational considerations and the intricacies of the information environment that MINDEF/SAF operates in
What We Are Looking For
Education in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Psychometrics, Operational Research or related field
At least 6 years of experience in data science, analytics or communications, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
Technical knowledge in analysis methods, data management, programming languages and visualisation software
Strong analytical skills
Problem-solving abilities
Good presentation and communication skills
