
Commercial Marketing Manager

Identifying, analyzing, developing, and advising relevant new business opportunities within the designated business unit or department.
- Initiating, developing, and executing the account management plan for key accounts in the target market.
- Negotiating and closing contracts in accordance with commercial and legal procedures and guidelines.
- Supporting commercial management of projects by monitoring the agreed budget, timely identifying risks and deviations, and identifying opportunities to optimize the financial result.
- Ensuring commercial information data input on inquiries, contracts, visit reports, competitive information, and client information in relevant databases to provide input for the sales plan and to increase sales potential.
- Monitor market trends and movement actively and provide market analysis reports to General Manager and/or Directors including price trends, market fundamentals, business progress, and performance
- Collect front-line marketing information and customers feedback, and provide feedback on the company's marketing strategy, after-sales service, and cost control measures
- Liaise with HOD and Directors
- Technical to Estimating / Budgeting of Ship Building Projects, Ship Management, and bidding of Chartering enquiries
- Verify and prepare Billing / invoicing of Ship Chartering and Ship Management matters
- Prepare of documentation for tender submission of Bareboat or Time Charter Agreement as and when required including Commercial Proposal.
- Follow up on the outstanding amount from the charterer and ensure timely collection of revenue.
- Liaising closely with the ship managers and the charterers including Ship Brokers.
- Maintaining separate voyage accounts for each vessel under Bareboat or Time Charter Contract.
- Manage in settlement of disputes with charterers and Ship Brokers
- Maintaining a record of off-hire and ensuring that downtime is always minimized
- Checking voyage bunker requirements and collecting bunkers quotes
- Ensuring that ships are being operated as per charter party.
- Liaising with Underwriters - H&M and P&I Club for Owner, Bankers and all other stakeholders associated with asset / Ships protection
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
- Ensure timely achievement of KPIs
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management
**Job Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in Maritime, Marine, and/or relevant field
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in Shipyard, Ship Management, Shipping, or Marine / offshore related industry
- Willing to travel to support and build a strong relationship with charterers and end users.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues and management
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and to meet timeline
- A good team player
