The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Sales Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team partners with the Google Cloud business organization to develop GTM strategies, provide business critical insights using analytics, facilitate cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic partnerships and initiatives. Our team thrives on deconstructing and re-creating business to meet changing strategic and operational needs, align functions and stakeholders to help the company continue to achieve vast potential.
As a Google Cloud Strategist, you will be a committed sales/business development professional, exceptional in working with both mid-market and large customers who are using public cloud and/or considering moving to a Public/Hybrid cloud mode of operation. Through inclusive and empathetic discussion with Sales, Engineering, and Partner teams, you will be able to quickly identify patterns and develop playbooks to be leveraged across the APAC region.

**Responsibilities**:
- Shape the strategy to advocate, position, and sell Google Cloud solutions in APAC markets.
- Understand the Google Cloud business landscape and the competitive dynamics in this region along with a sales/business development mindset.
- Identify Google Cloud’s most competitive markets in the region, and find trends to create sales execution that includes positioning, pricing/packaging, and effective sales strategy which can scale.
- Act as a bridge between the Sales, Solutions, and GTM Strategy and Operations teams locally and globally to help influence strategies adapting with evolving market conditions.
- Responsible for developing industry and segment-specific GTM strategies, initiatives and programs by leveraging your deep insights about market and competition in APAC. Work closely with sales teams on strategic programs, and selectively on large agreements.
