Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in a commercial agreements or pricing environment, in a technology based company or legal environment focusing on technology based customers and agreements.
- Experience analyzing data and creating reports.
Preferred qualifications:
- Solid working knowledge of commercial Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Familiar with establishing agreements for IT sector products and services, agreement drafting, and working directly with customers.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem solving skills, with the ability to present analytical findings.
**About the job**:
As a Deal Strategist for Google Cloud, you will support the process for Google Cloud customers within the remit of the Global Business Practices team, serve as a strategic business partner to Field Sales, manage consultation, and accelerate agreement timelines while mitigating commercial and agreement risk across all Google Cloud products. You will ensure that customers’ needs are addressed while minimizing Google risk and operational impact, and build and maintain relationships with Sales, internal cross-functional teams, and customer consultants, and contribute to scalability and efficiency gains in internal processes that impact the overall customer experience.

**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a trusted adviser to sales on product configuration, business terms, etc. Advise sales on objection handling techniques, alternative agreement options, and/or value propositioning to help drive business.
- Ensure compliance with published sales and business policies, process, and procedures. Ensure all required approvals are in place, and that the process leads to timely submission of the agreement.
- Manage complex day-to-day agreement creation processes, working closely with sales representatives to articulate customer requirements, business case, and agreement value to several stakeholders.
