The Brand Acquisition Manager’s overall responsibility is the epay product portfolio in the APAC region with a strong focus on launching new solutions in market and expanding said product portfolio. Below are the main details around the responsibilities:
**1. **Acquire and develop New Brand Content & Product Solutions**:
- Identify new brand partners for the purpose of expanding epay’s product line-up in market.
- Work closely with the Euronet/ epay local teams to identify potential high selling local content in specific markets and develop solutions for these specific brand partners to digitize, distribute etc.
- Identify local distributors and/ or aggregators to scale up the epay product catalogue.
- Build business cases around new brand acquisitions aligning with local sales/ business development/ management to understand all areas of potential product onboarding & distribution opportunities.
- Develop joint product & launch plans with newly acquired brand partners.
- Identify specific new brand focused sales channels for new distribution opportunities.
- Acquire sound technical understandings of epay product offerings as well as the wider epay product potential to match against new brand solutions in market.
- Follow current industry trends ongoingly, with the aim to identify epay opportunities to productise new solutions and develop brand categories.
**2. **Broaden epay’s Existing Global Content Catalogue & leverage into the APAC region**:
- Work closely with the epay global teams to leverage existing brand partners & product solutions into the APAC region replicating existing technical set-ups, processes, relationships etc.
- Be the champion of the APAC team and APAC regional set-up in front of the global product team, thereby educating the global team on regional set-ups and idiosyncrasies equipping everyone at all times with a sound and comfortable understanding of the APAC market and it’s needs.
- Support global RFP and strategic relationship initiatives.
- Get educated on all global tech solutions and leverage these into the APAC channel.
3. **Manage Existing Brand Relationships**:
- Account & Relationship Management (being the day-to-day key contact person for each brand).
- Advocate for epay’s interests and advance epay’s priorities with each brand partner.
- Work with existing (live) brands to optimize existing channels as well as launch new channels.
- Monitor each brand’s market expansion plans so epay has the opportunity to be part of a new market launch (or preferably to be the exclusive partner for a new market launch).
- Manage new product launches or new brand strategic initiatives.
- Conduct QBRs to evaluate successes, opportunities, and challenges.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
- Build a pipeline of new brand and product solutions into the APAC region.
- Deploy market expansion tactics with key existing brand partners, through a program of defined business development activities
- Liaise with local/global product providers to ensure promotional activity, effective promotion, and where appropriate will seek proper levels of provider funding to offset epay costs
- Develop and maintain detailed business plans for each brand, in line with epay global product/brand objectives
- Contract negotiation with potential brand partners in conjunction with global/local epay management and legal team
- Other duties, special projects, and special reporting as assigned
- Be available to undertake such travel as the Company will require from time to time
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**
- 7+ years of sales and business development experience, preferably within the digital industry
- Gift card experience (retail distribution and/or product management) is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in building and creating influential relationships with senior personnel with key brands resulting in increased revenue and profitability. Key executive level relationships at major brand companies is preferred
- The successful applicant will be self-starting and capable of excelling in an organisation that values achievement and results
- Experience working with multiple nationalities and cultures
- Self-motivated with the ability to work/travel independently
- Fluent English required
