**Major Responsibility Areas**
- Oversee the operations of the Station (Passenger, Baggage, Ramp, Cargo Handling, Lounge Services (if applicable) and Ground Handling and provides leadership & direction in goal setting and efforts to achieve high level of standards.
- Continuously reviews systems and procedures to achieve higher standards of efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
- As applicable, monitors and directs Duty Managers or Station Supervisors in planning for critical periods through weekly meetings with operational heads as well as station management; monthly meetings with other concerned ground handlers and service providers and ad-hoc crisis meetings as required; forward planning in every area to be the criterion.
- Overseas staff scheduling to ensure all areas of operations are covered and equal oppotunities for other assignments are given.
- Conducts performance appraisals of personnel directly reporting to him.
- Reinforces quantitative and qualitative standards already established for the operations; introduces new standards as appropriate and sets up measuring systems to provide feedback on performance against standards on a regular basis according to needs. If performance is particularly poor in any area, reports should be more frequent. In any case, reports should be produced on a monthly basis at least.
- Ensures the existence of the necessary facilities, workspace, equipment and supporting services, as well as work environment to satisfy ground handling operational safety and security requirements.
- Forwards planning for the Station in keeping with Airport Authority plans; maintains good relations with Airport Authorities/OAL and other government agencies.
- Coordinates with outlying foreign and domestic stations regarding flight activities involving updates and efficient implementation of minimum connecting time.
- Decides on matters referred to by the Duty Manager or Station Supervisor on major operational problems, customer concerns and employee welfare; any potentially critical situations that require approval are likewise handled by the jobholder.

With at least 10-12 years work experience in airport handling aspects

Must have knowledge and skills in Passenger, Bagage & Ramp Handling as as Station & Load Control Functions

Must have knowledge, if not experience, with Cargo Handling

Excellent in verbal and written communication

Knowledge in Microsoft Office
