**South East Asia - Regional Business Development Manager**

Part of the Kinshofer Group, **Auger Torque** is a highly successful, fast-growing manufacturing and engineering company in the Earthmoving Attachment market with global distribution and dealer networks. We manufacture innovative hydraulic attachments used with excavators and associated construction equipment. Reporting to the International Business Development Manager and the Managing Director of Auger Torque Australia, the Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company across South East Asia. This will require the individual to build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders, leaders and decision makers at dealers and distributors level while liaising with potential end customers.

**REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (SEA) - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the company in formulating a long-term Regional Business Development Strategy. Establish the Regional Business Development function working closely with the company’s International Business Development manager and South East Asia Account Manager by setting the company’s regional business development vision, mission, goals, strategies, and deliverables based on the company’s objectives and budget.
- Participate in development of the organisation’s periodic strategic and operational work plans. Support and guide the company’s management in appraising policies and strategies relating to Business Development for the region.
- Champion the company’s growth initiatives within the South East Asia region by leading the company’s initiatives to expand its footprint within the region. With focus initially on Singapore and the Philippines.
- Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and competitive strategies and developments at a regional level.
- Develop and maintain close and effective relationships and networks with both existing and potential new clients in a defined territory, as well as linkages with local suppliers in the region to establish adaptive supply chain.
- Work closely with the global marketing team to develop marketing strategy and plans to support the company’s growth targets for this region. To include lead generation activities, brand awareness, PR, tradeshows, exhibitions and use of digital platforms.
- Use every opportunity available to promote the company’s profile, image and brand by participating in trade fairs, exhibitions, promotions and all other such business development and brand awareness initiatives.
- Represent the company at international forums whenever required

**About You**
- Master / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Commerce, Marketing and Business Administration or any other related field.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently whilst interacting with senior management team members at a global level. A person with a high degree of initiative to oversee operation and management of Auger Torque South East Asia operations
- At least five years of experience in international business development at a senior level within the South East Asia region.
- **Technically oriented person who has experience in sales of capital equipment and in depth understanding of function of hydraulics, heavy and mechanical equipment.**:

- The ability to work with relevant stakeholders in various environments, including on the ground equipment commissioning.
- Demonstrable track record of business development, increasing sales and generating sustainable revenue streams by growing the business Very strong communication and negotiation skills, high degree of commercial awareness, with business acumen. Keen eye for detail to new business and new product development opportunities
- Demonstrable track record of success in developing and fostering key relationships at a senior level with dealers and distributors, governmental agencies and end customers in construction, landscaping and the rail industry, etc.
- **Able to speak English to a good level and ideally Tagalog or Mandarin**:

- You will be prepared to spend some of the time travelling in the South East Asia region.
- You will ideally have access to your own transport
