**Things you will be doing as a Junior Sous Chef**:

- Ensure consistent and smooth running of food production.
- Ensure effective stock purchase.
- Ensure that working areas are always kept clean.
- Assist other kitchen staff as the need arises.
- Ensure that required standards are adhered to in the production and preparation of food - in quality, quantity, and safety.
- Work towards exceeding customers’ expectations by encouraging and promoting a high level of service.

**You’ll be a great fit if you have**:

- Experience as Junior Sous, Chef or Chef De Partie in hotels
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to pay attention to details: adherence to specific ingredients and measurements needed for various menus.
- Ability to make quick decisions.
- Ability to multitask: The sous chef in the junior position must be able to handle many tasks all at once.
- Ability to be creative, always willing to try something new.

**LEGAL REQUIREMENTS**

**Salary**: $3,200.00 - $3,500.00 per month
